“ Service was good and the portions were massive. I had the hippie hash with sausage and it was delicious. The inside was a bit run down but I guess that adds to the charm. It's good if you're in the area and hungry and it's convenient, but I wouldn't travel for it. ”

“ Really enjoyed my 1am breakfast experience at Abe's. I ordered the Southern Omelette and was very impressed. The gravy was tasty and had just enough pepper. The hash browns were served on the side. They were not bad. I prefer them to be a little more crispy but I am not going to complain. Very enjoyable coffee! The service was a fun experience. Staff was really outgoing and friendly. Overall, I would recommend Abe's and I look forward to trying more items on their menu. ”

“ Besides being the official Ypsilanti eatery, Abe's has a good hamburger and better breakfast, which of course you can order any time of the day. I like that it's open 24 hours, and that you find all types of people there at all times of the day. Neo-hippies, bikers, yuppies, great-grandparents, whatever. The decor is a little worn, so not a good place for a date. The last time I was there, I noticed that a lot of the seats are worn to the point that the somebody-sat-here depression is now permanent. ”
